Australian Quilting Block

So, after my first quilting project I got prety addicted to this kind of textile design technique, and I quickly created a new block.

The inspiration for this block’s colors is Australian landscape, and most of the fabrcs that I used to make it come from the Australian manufacturer. I bought these fabrics from my local quilting store Not Just Quiltz.

“Striping” method to make parts of the block significantly decreases the time of production. The rest of the block was assembled using Foundation Paper Piecing,
The size of the block is 12″ by 12″.
Almost perfect lines and the Y seams turned out great!

Fabric block vs. EQ8 rendition.

I hope you like my design. Here are some more color variations for this quilting block.
